For Dr. Mary Beth Bowman, the fight against cavities is a family feud. Her brother and younger sister are dentists too. And so was their father, Dr. Homer Bowman, who started Bowman Family Dental more than fifty years ago. For nearly 20 years, Dr. Mary Beth has carried on his legacy and cared for Woodburn's teeth with invested compassion. She prides herself on using the latest techniques to give patients more than beautiful smiles, but stronger overall health.
When not filling the dental office with her joyful laughter, she can be found cheering on her daughters at their sporting events.
Rock Star Hygenists
Not the guitar-smashing kind, but more the type that really knows how to gently clean and care for pearly whites. In fact, if you were to travel back in time twenty years, you'd find them in scrubs and doing what they still love to do today — making someone's smile a little healthier.
As far as what else make them smile, Allyn is an avid knitter and loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and Finn, the family dog. Toni, on the other hand, is always happy to garden, camp, or be on two wheels — including motorcycles. Maybe there's a little traditional rock star in her as well.
The Friendliest Assistants
Seriously, if they gave out an award for being positive, upbeat and just generally nice to be around, Meilannya and Colleen would win it. They are strong contributors to an atmosphere that makes you almost look forward to going to the dentist.
And when they aren't smiling here, Meilannya can be found joyfully making necklaces, camping, and caring for her toddler son. And Colleen is likely beaming at her husband as she looks up from her crocheting or an enthralling novel.

Capa and Nila are great advocates to have on your dental health team. Whether welcoming you to your appointment, helping you reschedule, or gently reminding you when it's time for your next check-up, they do it all with a genuine interest in your wellbeing.
When she's not greeting you at our office, Capa loves being active with her family. And Nila also cherishes her family time, perfectly content at home with her husband and daughters.
